AXIS amends contracts of senior executives
Bermuda-based re/insurer AXIS Capital Holdings has extended the employment agreements of two senior executives by three years.
Peter Vogt, the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), and Steve Arora, chief executive officer of AXIS Reinsurance, have had their contracts extended until December 31, 2023.
Additionally, AXIS Specialty US Services has updated Vogt’s agreement to reflect the current targets for his annual incentive and long-term equity compensation plan.
Arora's employment has been amended to specify that allowances for housing, utilities and children’s educational expenses will terminate December 31, 2021.
Vogt assumed the role of CFO from Joseph Henry starting January 1, 2018. He has been a senior leader within the AXIS since 2010. In addition to his role as AXIS Insurance COO since 2013, Vogt had previously served for more than two years as CFO and COO of AXIS’ accident & health business unit.
Arora joined as CEO of Re in 2017 after spending 18 years in a variety of senior positions at Swiss Re.
