AXA XL taps Aon to build global energy transition strategy

Re/insurer  AXA XL has tapped a senior Aon executive to develop its global energy transition strategy.

Vicky Roberts-Mills (pictured) will join AXA XL later this year as head of energy transition.

The new role aims to bring together the full capabilities of AXA XL and AXA Group to enable the business to be an effective partner with clients as they transition to net zero.

Roberts-Mills has over 20 years’ experience, holding senior positions in the energy sector, including renewables and energy transition exposures. She was previously offshore renewables leader at Aon, leading the London renewables business line. She served for 18 years at BP, where she held various senior positions, including leading the global insurance team and managing risk management and governance strategies.
