AXA XL picks new global innovation leader to ‘push boundaries’
Re/insurer AXA XL has appointed a new global innovation leader to break new ground and spearhead initiatives aimed at providing fresh solutions that create more value for the company's clients and brokers.
Dan Bendavid (pictured) has been appointed global lead – innovation, within its operations & technology team.
In this role, Bendavid will be tasked to drive AXA XL’s innovation strategy and manage a global team of innovation experts to lead the implementation of focused initiatives, in collaboration with external partners.
Bendavid joined from AXA where he worked on several strategic initiatives, including the definition of AXA’s Group Digital Strategy for Operations & Services. He managed programmes in Spain and Italy before leading general insurance claims operations across seven countries in Asia-Pacific. He then joined AXA Next where he led the P&C Business Innovation Center. Prior to joining AXA, Bendavid was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey in Paris.
Ashok Krishnan, chief innovation, data and analytics officer at AXA XL, said: “The insurance industry is undergoing a tremendous amount of change, and so are our clients’ businesses.
