AXA UK and Ireland has appointed Roland Moquet as new chief financial officer (CFO), succeeding Amelie Breitburd who is leaving the insurer after almost 16 years.
Moquet joins from AXA Italy where he served as chief financial officer since September 2016. Since joining AXA from the French Treasury in 2005, Moquet has held various positions, including CFO of AXA Tianping in Shanghai from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, he was head of planning and controlling at AXA MPS.
Breitburd, who has been at AXA for nearly 16 years, became CFO of AXA UK and Ireland in January 2019. Prior to that, she was the CFO of the insurer’s Asia business and held several senior roles at AXA Group in Paris. She joined AXA in 2004.
Additionally, the insurer has appointed Amber Wilkinson as strategy, brand and communications director, AXA UK & Ireland.
Wilkinson previously held various roles within AXA, including chief of staff to the AXA UK and & Ireland CEO, finance director at AXA PPP Healthcare and head of M&A for AXA UK.
Both Moquet and Wilkinson will join AXA UK and Ireland's management committee.
