Aston Lark’s new online portal will streamline specialist renovation insurance
Aston Lark has launched launch a new online broker portal that allows brokers to quote and buy renovation insurance for their clients in minutes.
Aston Lark’s BIBA-approved Renovation Plan scheme offers three levels of cover and serves both the wholesale and retail market. As well as enabling delivery of a more efficient service, the new online broker portal also provides brokers with the ability to communicate with the Renovation Plan team, process mid-term adjustments and bind cover/download documents immediately.
Brooke Crisp, manager of Renovation Plan, said: “This is really exciting for our team and the brokers we work with. We launched a pilot project in November with a selection of our broker panel which had some fantastic feedback. Launching it fully and providing all brokers with the opportunity to quote and buy online is a brilliant way to begin the year. This new system is just the start of what is to come.”
Peter Blanc, Group CEO of Aston Lark, added: “Delivering an efficient service backed by a market-leading scheme is at the core of how Renovation Plan works with their brokers. The launch of this fantastic broker portal enables the team to further enhance the experience for brokers. Being able to quote and bind fully online allows brokers to have greater flexibility with their clients. The Renovation Plan team has done a terrific job of delivering this system for the start of 2021 and we’re really looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.”
The broker portal is available to all brokers with a TOBA in place. If a broker does not currently have a live agency, they can apply for one via Renovation Plan’s website. Once a TOBA is agreed, brokers will be provided with their account details for the portal.
