He is a market leader in the architect’s & engineer’s professional liability field in both the US and abroad. He spent the last 13 years as the global head of construction professional liability at AIG. Prior to AIG, he worked as vice president at Lexington. During these tenures, he was the lead underwriter on some of the world’s largest design risks.

Aon’s design & construction firm practice provides specialised insurance brokerage and risk advisory services to architects, engineers, surveyors, project/construction managers and other design professionals (including design and build contractors).

Mark Peterson, managing director of professional services at  Aon, said: “Bob brings a wealth of technical and industry expertise to our practice. We believe his expertise will be a differentiator for our rapidly growing client base. He will bring senior leadership and a wealth of additional expertise to an area which has grown exponentially in the last few years.”
