Aon appoints new president of Health Solutions
Global professional services firm Aon has appointed Dave Guilmette as president of health solutions.
“With extensive experience in the healthcare industry, Guilmette is recognized for his passion for helping clients address their most significant needs, the distinctive insight he offers about the greatest opportunities for innovation and a well-grounded perspective familiar with all the key stakeholders involved in this dynamic marketplace,” said Michael O’Connor, co-president of Aon.
In addition to previous consulting roles, Guilmette spent more than nine years at Cigna Corporation in a series of positions with increasing responsibility. Most recently he served as president of global employer and private exchanges for the global health service company based in Hartford, Conn.
“Dave is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the health marketplace and he will be well positioned to work with our leadership team to continue serving our clients with excellence and accelerate our Health Solutions growth agenda,” O’Connor said.
Aon said it is working with clients around the globe to mitigate rising healthcare costs and improve employee health and wellbeing.
“Clients view keeping promises to help their employees protect their health and wellbeing as one of their greatest responsibilities,” said Eric Andersen, Co-President of Aon. “With Dave leading our team, we’re confident that Aon will continue to be a valued and trusted partner to our clients.”
Guilmette added: “Aon has a well-deserved reputation for standing out in the way its colleagues understand client needs and respond by developing innovative solutions. I’m excited to be part of this team and believe we have tremendous opportunities to help clients and drive transformation in the health marketplace.”
