Rating agency AM Best has appointed William Mills as director of market development in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
He joins from Standard & Poor’s (S&P), where he spent 15 years in a commercial role, most recently as a director in client business management.
Mills will be based in AM Best’s London office and report to Nick Charteris-Black, managing director, market development in EMEA.
He will be responsible for developing the rating agency’s profile in the major European markets. This includes the origination of new rating assignments and managing existing client relationships.
