Alesco bolsters energy division with senior hires
Alesco Risk Management Services, a specialist insurance and risk management broker, has made a series of senior hires for its energy division.
The broker has appointed David Hallows, Rob Neighbour and William Holden as partners, and Charlotte Clayton as an associate partner within the international energy team. Hallows will join in August and will report to Simon Clarkson, head of the energy team.
Hallows has over 30 years of senior leadership and international energy experience and has previously worked at Willis.
Neighbour joined the business from THB at the end of July and will focus on upstream and midstream business, predominantly out of the US.
Holden joins from Price Forbes as the lead broker for the US energy casualty business.
John Thompson, managing partner of energy and construction at Alesco, said: “Alesco’s energy team is having a record year, and I’m delighted that the second half will see some more incredibly talented individuals from the industry join our expanding independent wholesale business. I am very much looking forward to working with the new team as we continue our path of growth and develop new and more effective ways to bring our capabilities and expertise to bear for our clients.”
David Hallows, executive partner, Alesco added: “I have watched Alesco’s successful growth from afar and have been impressed by its focus on outstanding market intelligence and client service. The independence the team has to operate, trade and innovate has created a highly attractive working environment and I am looking forward to now being part of this exciting and growing team.”
