AkinovA commercial director joins insurtech INARI to help drive global growth
A founding member of e-trading marketplace AkinovA has moved to insurtech INARI to help expand its client base across insurance, reinsurance, MGAs and Lloyd’s syndicates in the London market and overseas.
INARI provides technology software for the global insurance and reinsurance industry. It has appointed Alexander Pike (pictured) as chief commercial officer to support the company’s international growth strategy.
Based in London, Pike will be INARI’s first UK employee, tasked with the role of building out the company’s expansion in the UK and beyond. He will also focus on growing INARI’s existing client relationships, as well as developing the business’s network of clients globally – particularly in London, Bermuda, the US and Asia.
Pike joins from AkinovA, where he was a founding team member and the commercial director, responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy, sales and marketing. Prior to AkinovA, Pike worked for a UK tech-focused VC fund Oxford Capital, as well as for Morgan Stanley in Prime Brokerage. He spent six years as an Officer in a British Army reconnaissance regiment and was deployed on two operational tours of Afghanistan.
“I am delighted that Alex has joined our growing team as we continue to expand our client base globally,” said Frank Perkins, chief executive officer at INARI. “He brings with him a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience that has already benefited both our clients as well the team.”
Pike commented: “I am very excited to be joining INARI at such a pivotal growth point. We are really starting to expand our client base across insurance, reinsurance, MGA’s, Lloyd’s syndicates and managing agents, and I am looking forward to building out the INARI team in London.”
