AI startup Eigen hires new CRO from Verbit
London-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup Eigen Technologies has made a new leadership appointment to drive enhanced integration and alignment between all of its revenue-related functions to open new routes to future growth.
The company has hired Brian Troesch (pictured) as its new chief revenue officer (CRO). He joins from AI-powered transcription startup Verbit. Troesch will lead Eigen’s sales organisation, pricing and revenue management, based out of the company’s New York office.
Troesch has over two decades experience leading high performance sales teams in technology businesses, including extensive experience at AI and SaaS companies. He was most recently SVP of sales at Verbit.ai. Before that he held sales leadership roles at Vonage, BICS, Arbinet and Proximus.
Lewis Liu, Eigen’s founder and CEO, said: “He brings a depth of experience leading revenue growing sales teams in technology businesses, particularly those that specialise in AI like us. I know that his experience, combined with the work we’re already doing - using cutting-edge AI technology and proven ability to deliver automation for organisations across financial services, insurance and supply chain - will serve us well. I have always been proud of the fact that Eigen has been revenue generating since our foundation and that we have always taken a commercial mindset. It is this mindset that enables us to succeed even in the toughest of markets.”
Troesch commented: “I have made my career at high-growth companies in the AI and CPaaS space, and I knew from the moment I met Lewis that Eigen’s technology is special. In my experience it is rare to find differentiation among AI technologies, but with Eigen’s small data approach they have done just that. It is rarer still to find one that is proven in the market with top tier institutions like Goldman Sachs, ING and Aviva. I am incredibly excited to start working with the team and build on Eigen’s existing sales momentum. By focusing on using our technology to deliver real value for our customers we will continue to win in the market.”
