Twelve Capital appoints new group executive chair to succeed Schnewlin
Twelve Capital, the independent investment manager specialising in insurance, has appointed founding partner Urs Ramseier as its new group executive chairman, replacing Frank Schnewlin who has held the position since 2016.
Schnewlin is retiring after serving the ILS investment manager for over seven years.
In addition, the company has appointed experienced Swiss insurance and banking executive Thomas Müller to the Board of Twelve Capital Holding AG and also Twelve.
Müller currently serves as a board member at Raiffeisen Switzerland as well as being the chair of the Risk Committee. He is currently the chairman of the Swiss Takeover Board. In his last executive role, he held the position of chief risk officer and was a member of the executive committee of EFG International AG, Zurich (Switzerland). Müller was previously the CFO of Swiss Life Group and also held a number of similar positions, including at Bank J. Safra Sarasin & Co.
Schnewlin said: “With the appointment of Urs Ramseier as Executive Chair, Twelve Capital continues to have an expert with a formidable skill set coupled with a deep knowledge and insight of the financial industry to steer the Group forward. I wish him and the whole team at Twelve Capital all the best and long may the successful journey continue.”
