Hurricane Beryl triggers record CCRIF payout for the Caribbean
Hurricane Beryl has triggered a record payout for the Caribbean country of Grenada after devastating 90% of all buildings on the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The payout, under Grenada’s tropical cyclone parametric policy, is the largest single payout ever made by the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF).
