Florida claims early victories: rate filings temper after tort reform

Florida property insurance rate filings may be edging down in 2024 amid "further positive indications" on the reinsurance market and stability visible in 2023 financial reports from the state's slate of insurers, Florida state insurance regulators have said in their latest statement of confidence on the impact of to-date market reforms.
