Florida cat fund slips in 2024, faces higher hurdles on major event

The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF) suffered another slip in cash on hand to end-2024, forcing an increased reliance on fresh debt and resulting industry assessments were a major event to strike, the fund has indicated.
