DUAL boosts US risk modelling capabilities with senior hire

DUAL Group, the specialist underwriting arm of global broker Howden, has bolstered its North American operations with a new senior hire.

Alok Jha (pictured) has been appointed as senior vice president of risk modelling.

Jha, who has over 20 years of experience, was previously an associate at MMI Engineering and senior director at Risk Management Solutions.

“DUAL North America is a leading MGA with a robust portfolio of more than 45 specialty insurance products. In 2023 alone, DUAL achieved an impressive GWP of $1.5billion, serving a diverse range of industries across the country with offices spanning 14 locations in the United States,” Jha commented on his appointment.

“I am honoured to be part of such a dynamic team, dedicated to delivering excellence and driving meaningful impact in risk modelling and beyond. Looking forward to this new chapter of growth and collaboration,” he added.
