Consilium snares Aon talent to expand delegated business within Lloyd’s and London
Consilium, the global specialty re/insurance broking business of the Aventum Group, has attracted an Aon executive with SCOR and Convex pedigree to expand its capabilities in the delegated risk market.
Lucy Moore joins the broker as head of technical and operations within its delegated risk solutions division.
Moore will be tasked with supporting MGA clients and use her experience to design and execute strategies for Consilium’s delegated business.
Moore has eight years of delegated underwriting authority (DUA) experience. She joins Consilium from Aon where she held the role of DUA account manager. Moore has also held roles at Convex and SCOR.
Consilium reported a compound growth rate of 39% since 2019 and has seen an 132% increase in headcount in the last 18 months, with further recruitment planned for next year. The company said it is expected to see “significant growth” in 2024 and is on target to reach $1.4 billion GWP by 2026.
Toby Gorman, senior partner delegated risk solutions at Consilium, said: “We are excited to have Lucy on board. She has a tremendous reputation in the market, and her dynamism and passion for delegated business is a perfect fit. Lucy shares our ambition to build an inspiring centre of excellence for delegated business within the Lloyd’s and London markets.”
Moore commented: “It’s a privilege to join Consilium’s Delegated Risk Solutions division. I’m excited to be part of a business with such an entrepreneurial culture and look forward to playing my part in supporting both new and existing clients as we set the benchmark for what’s possible in the delegated market.”
