Conduit bullish on growth after Q1 spurt, cites ‘historically favourable’ rates

London-listed pure-play reinsurer Conduit Holdings, the ultimate parent company of Conduit Re, saw its top line surge by nearly 30% in the first quarter, with growth spanning all segments and new business, despite continued hesitance to casualty. Management painted a bullish picture in the trading update, describing the market conditions as remaining at “historically favourable levels” across its targeted sectors.
