Collaboration a must in new world of risk: Airmic CEO

Collaboration and working better together is becoming a must in the context of an ever-changing risk landscape, Julia Graham, CEO, Airmic, told delegates in her opening remarks in Edinburgh yesterday (June 3).

Graham was welcoming delegates to Airmic’s annual conference, called Tomorrow’s Risks Today, which is being held in Edinburgh this week (June 3-5).

“We are entering a new world with new risks and we must work together,” she said. “It is about action and collaboration. We want everyone here to learn and network and enjoy our packaged agenda – but also collaborate.”

She added how proud she was to being the conference back to Scotland, after it was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. “It is amazing to see so any of you here,” she said.

“We look forward to covering some of the looming risks and exploring the role of the industry in addressing these. I am looking forward to getting some sneak peaks into the strategy of some of the very senior speakers we have this week.”
