AXIS Capital pivots casualty to E&S, sifts for specialty opportunity

AXIS Capital will push its casualty exposure towards excess channels where it can best manage limits while pulling back from problems faced in primary layers, then pick from a host of opportunities in E&S and specialty to boost market share, the group's top leader for North American operations has said.
