Australia’s ASIC takes QBE to court alleging it ‘misled’ on pricing discounts

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has commenced court proceedings against QBE Insurance Australia alleging it “misled customers over pricing discounts”. QBE has acknowledged the issue and ‘apologises for the inconsistencies,’ stating it will review the pleadings.
