1/1 renewals see US stability, UK rate softening, better targets in EMEA & Asia

Reinsurers’ strong appetite for US business in a healthy rate environment contributed to an “orderly” renewal across multiple lines in the US. In the UK, rates softened, while buyers in EMEA and Asia Pacific focused on securing better value and more affordable reinsurance amid premium growth, according to Gallagher Re’s key territory insights.
