The Hartford unveils new global insurer network
US-based property/casualty insurer The Hartford has launched a new directly-managed network of insurance partners, backed by a global technology platform, to enhance its multinational capabilities.
Through the new network, The Hartford will provide insurance coverage for US companies in more than 200 countries through local and regional partners.
The Global Insurer Network will comprise of more than 80 local and regional insurers, including partners such as Aviva, which will service the needs of The Hartford’s customers operating in the UK and Ireland.
The company's head of multinational insurance, Alfred Bergbauer said: “For a U.S. company, doing business globally can present a variety of new risks and having the right protection in place to operate in other countries is essential. We are pleased to expand our network of global partners to continue to provide the insurance solutions our customers need around the world and the excellent service they have come to expect.”
