Novae shuffles Lloyd’s leadership

Novae Syndicates has appointed Jo Butcher as chief executive, following the retirement of Jeremy Adams.

In addition, Rob Forster has been appointed chief underwriting officer of Novae Syndicates.

As a result of the appointments, Stuart Heath has been promoted to divisional head of property, John Owen has been promoted to divisional head of marine, aviation and political risks and Bob Patten, as previously announced, has been appointed divisional head of casualty.

Ian Burford becomes underwriting performance director and also becomes sole active underwriter for Syndicate 2007.
