HWI hires international political violence, terror and cyber specialist
HW International (HWI), a privately held, independent global insurance brokerage, has appointed international executive Paul Loring to its London office. The addition is part of HWI’s continuing growth in international political violence, terrorism and cyber placements.
Loring has more than 30 years of industry expertise, producing and developing global insurance solutions, and was most recently at Miller Insurance Services.
“It is a real pleasure for us to welcome such an experienced individual to our team at a time when we are making considerable investments and adding talent to the business,” said Martin Kelsh, director and head of the international non-marine at H W Wood, HWI’s London office. “Paul’s skills and expertise will bring our existing political violence offering to a new level and compliment the company’s growth ambitions.”
Loring added: “HWI’s platform, footprint and drive for growth is something that I can associate myself with, where relationships are based on trust and recognised as such. It is a delight to be joining a privately-held company like HWI which recognises that trusting in people, their abilities and their entrepreneurial spirit is the key to having a real competitive advantage.”
