Ed hires head of facultative reinsurance from Price Forbes
Reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker Ed has appointed Jennifer D’Arcy to the new role of executive vice president and head of facultative reinsurance.
D’Arcy comes to Ed with more than 17 years of industry experience, joining from Price Forbes, where she was executive director - head of cargo reinsurance. Prior to that, she held roles at RK Harrison as associate director in their marine cargo practice, and at Marsh, Willis, and Gibbs Hartley Cooper.
She will report to Kieran Angelini-Hurll, CEO of Ed’s reinsurance broking operations.
Angelini-Hurll said: “Fac business is a core area for Ed, and Jennifer is the ideal individual to drive its growth among new and potential clients. She is a proven producer with an enormous network spanning the world, which will be of great value not only to Ed, but especially to clients seeking an alternative approach to the market.”
D’Arcy added: “I am excited to be joining a wholesale broker with a solid vision of how to serve clients better. Ed is refreshing.”
