Dual to acquire Italian MGA from Munich Re, Reale Mutua
Managing general agent Dual's Italian business is in talks to acquire 100 percent of managing general agency Synkronos Italia's share capital.
The company said that Dual Italia has recently started negotiations with Munich Re and Reale Mutua for the acquisition of the firm founded in 2009.
Following the deal, the company said Munich Re and Reale Mutua will continue to provide Dual Italia with unchanged insurance capacity in the engineering, fine art and benefit lines.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of April, before the next renewals in June and December.
