Brit poaches Chubb to build new private clients offering
Specialty re/insurer Brit has hired a senior Chubb executive to establish a private clients offering at the company.
Tara Parchment will join Brit as head of private clients in November. She will report to Jon Sullivan, portfolio director, Short Tail.
Parchment was most recently European head of private clients at Chubb, leading the high net worth practice outside of North America. Prior to her career at Chubb, she held several roles in private client broking.
Matthew Wilson, CEO of Brit, said: “I’m pleased to welcome Tara to Brit to build and grow a Private Clients offering. The high net worth market continues to see strong demand and I am confident that Tara is the right person to help us capitalise on this opportunity.”
“Tara has a well-earned reputation in the market, with the relevant expertise and relationships needed to build a strong book of business with us. Adding high-quality underwriters is an important part of Brit’s growth strategy, and I look forward to the expansion of our capabilities in the private client space.”
