Artex co-founder Peter Mullen returns as CEO

Peter Mullen has rejoined Artex the alternative risk management company as chief executive officer, with David McManus taking up the new role of Chairman.

Mullen, McManus and Artex North America president, Jennifer Gallagher, founded Artex in 1997. Mullen worked at the firm for more than 20 years and at its parent company Gallagher, until moving to Aon Captive & Insurance Management to be CEO eight years ago.

McManus said: “I am thrilled to welcome Peter back to Artex and excited for what the future holds under his leadership.

“Innovation is at the core of his talents and is the foundation of our company. I’m confident that this innovation, together with Peter’s fresh perspective and energy, will drive Artex to even greater success in the years to come.”
