Arch Insurance-backed insurtech MGA C-Quence launched in London
C-Quence, a new insurtech managing general agent (MGA) with a commercial insurance trading and underwriting platform, has been launched in London.
The company secured underwriting capacity from Arch Insurance Company (Europe) earlier in July 2018. It aims to become a leading digital MGA, transforming and enhancing commercial broking experiences using technology and data.
The start-up has also unveiled its management liability product ML5 and underwriting platform C-Q Elements that automates the process while reducing administrative work and speeding up the underwriting decisions.
The company's CEO Jacqueline McNamee, who was previously managing director of AIG UK, believes that the new platform will set a new industry standard for underwriting service.
“Having started on 1st March last year I am proud with what our talented team have achieved in such a short space of time," said McNamee. “The speed at which we have achieved our first major goal gives me great confidence that we will grow the business rapidly in 2019, delivering a Property and Casualty suite along similar lines to ML5 and continually improve the broker experience with C-Q Elements."
McNamee added: “We believe it sets a new industry standard for underwriting service.”
