Aon appoints CEO of US construction services group
Aon has named Jim Gloriod as CEO of its US Construction Services Group, responsible for the construction, power and the environmental practices.
Gloriod will also work closely with the global construction and infrastructure division, led by Geoff Heekin, to ensure that the US and global businesses are properly aligned.
Gloriod has held various leadership roles, including resident managing director of St. Louis, during his 20-year career with Aon. Additionally, he has served as a vital leader to some of Aon’s largest power and construction clients. Last September, Gloriod was promoted to president of the US construction services group under Kevin White’s leadership. Since then, he has worked in partnership with White and other Aon leaders to develop strategies that have strengthened the firm’s leadership position in the construction sector and ensure a smooth transition into his new role.
"Our team believes in constantly looking towards the future, embracing change and serving each and every client with industry leading services and capabilities," said Lori Goltermann, CEO for Aon US Retail. "Jim embodies our core mission in all of his work, making him the perfect fit for this role. We are excited to see the practice grow and achieve its full potential under his leadership."
White will continue to play an active role on the team, serving as a strategic advisor to Aon’s Construction Services Group with a focus on clients and colleagues in the Northeast.
Goltermann added: "Kevin has been an integral asset to Aon’s construction business for 24 years with proven leadership and impressive career accomplishments. Under the guidance of these two essential leaders, Aon will continue to empower our clients with innovative solutions today and into the future."
