Allianz strengthens AGCS UK broker relationships with AIG hire
Allianz Group's specialist corporate insurer Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has strengthened its broker relationships team in the UK with a new hire from AIG and a promotion from within.
Based in London within the company's market management team, Lee Brewer and Harriet Tiplady will have responsibility for pipeline and relationship management with major global and mid-market brokers.
Brewer previously served for four years as a broker relationship manager for AIG in London, having started with AIG as a London Market development manager. Before this, he spent 12 years at Aviva.
Tiplady joined AGCS in 2017 as a senior sales analyst from Allianz UK where she was a key account developer focusing on personal lines brokers.
Brian Kirwan, UK CEO, AGCS said: "Lee’s wealth of market-facing experience and ability to build strong relationships with brokers will position us well to support customers’ understanding of today’s and tomorrow’s complex risks and, will ensure we continue to deliver relevant and innovative products and services. I look forward to working with him to develop new relationships with brokers and build on existing ones, as we continue to expand our offering in the UK."
“Harriet has made a positive impact and become an integral part of the market management team since she joined us in 2017,” Kirwan added. “She has demonstrated the ability to successfully communicate AGCS’ strengths and differentiators to our brokers and how we help our customers understand and protect themselves from risk.”
