Allianz replaces AGCS CFO, reshuffles leadership of operating entities

Germany’s Allianz has replaced the chief financial officer (CFO) of its commercial insurance arm Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) along with leadership changes at other operating entities.

Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre, currently CFO of Allianz Benelux, will become the new CFO of AGCS with effect from March 1, 2019. Coste-Lepoutre has been the CFO of Allianz Benelux since September 2015.

Coste-Lepoutre is replacing Nina Klingspor who is becoming the CEO of Allianz Deutschland’s private health insurer Allianz Private Krankenversicherung (APKV) and a member of the board of management of Allianz Deutschland, with effect from April 1, 2019. Klingspor was appointed CFO of AGCS in January 2015.

Birgit König, currently CEO APKV and member of the board of management of Allianz Deutschland, will head the international unit Allianz Digital Health (ADH) with effect from April 1, 2019. In her new role at ADH, Birgit König will be responsible for optimizing and harmonizing health insurance products and processes throughout the entire Allianz world and drive growth. König has been CEO of APKV since 2012.
