Most recently he was group property leader, a role he held from 2015, where he was responsible for the leadership and direction of all commercial property business written by RSA. McGain returns to Allianz where he was previously a senior property underwriter from 2000 to 2005.
In his new role, McGain will be responsible for driving profitable growth across AGCS’ property portfolio in the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Russia and the Nordic Region. “We are delighted to welcome Tim to the team – he has a wealth of multinational experience and skills from over 20 years in the market as an underwriter," said Browne. “His extensive knowledge and background will be invaluable as we shape and build our growing property portfolio in the Region. We continue to develop a truly client-centric proposition and Tim’s role will be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver an integrated offering that benefits both clients and brokers, and which fully leverages the strengths of our products and services.”
