Willis Towers Watson names global head of risk consulting business
Broker Willis Towers Watson has appointed Alice Underwood as the global head of its risk consulting and software (RCS) business.
Based in New York, Underwood joins the RCS team from Willis Re, Willis Towers Watson’s reinsurance business, where she led the North America analytics team and was a member of the Willis Re global leadership team.
Underwood will continue to lead the Willis Re North America analytics team until a successor is appointed.
Before joining Willis Towers Watson in 2006, Underwood led a team of actuaries and catastrophe modellers at Guy Carpenter.
Carl Hess, head of investment risk and reinsurance, Willis Towers Watson, said: "I am delighted to have Alice on board as the global head of our RCS business. Alice brings with her a wealth of experience that will benefit our clients as we strengthen our position as the leading consultancy and technology solutions provider for the insurance industry."
"Willis Towers Watson has so much to offer clients to help them manage their risk and capital, especially in these times of accelerating and disruptive change in the insurance industry," Underwood commented. "We are in a unique position to bring RCS expertise and solutions to clients, and I am continually impressed by our consultants’ insights, depth of expertise, and dedication to client service."
