StarStone appoints global head of accident and health

StarStone, the specialty insurer and subsidiary of Enstar Group, has appointed Jeff Herman as global head of accident and health (A&H).

Herman will report to US CEO Norman Brown and group CUO David Message. He will be based in New York, and will work closely with StarStone’s existing A&H teams in London and Brussels.

StarStone’s A&H business is written through its global insurance platforms and Lloyd’s Syndicate 1301.

Herman previously served as global head of accident and health at CV Starr.
