JLT Specialty hires Aon SVP in San Francisco
JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, has appointed Jennifer Schaeffer as senior vice president to further builds its specialty expertise in the West US.
Based in San Francisco, Schaeffer will focus on business development with specialities in technology, fintech and private equity.
Schaeffer joins JLT from Aon, where as a SVP she was responsible for cultivating relationships with new clients and advising on a broad range of risk transfer solutions for high-growth pre-IPO and Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to Aon, Schaeffer was with Wells Fargo Insurance Services where she focused on managing and negotiating executive liability insurance programmes for pre-IPO and publicly traded technology and biotech companies. She began her career at NASDAQ managing executive liability programmes for Bay Area technology companies and went on to lead NASDAQ’s Nordic insurance operations based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Schaeffer has also served as an advisor to CFOs, General Counsels and Treasurers regarding corporate risk transfer solutions primarily for technology, biotechnology, fintech and financial services firms.
