Bluefin hires farm insurance specialist for agriculture team

Bluefin Underwriting has increased the underwriting capability of its agriculture team with the appointment of Sarah Robinson as agriculture trading and development manager.

The appointment follows the release of two new agriculture products, and the appointments of Kyle Lomas and Jodie Gibbons to the team.

Robinson has over ten year of agriculture underwriting experience, having previously worked with Rural Insurance and NIG Farm Web.

Paul Drake, Head of Bluefin Underwriting, commented: “Sarah has a proven track record of broker development and relationship management and will play a significant role in delivering our Agriculture strategy and planned growth.

“We are delighted that she has joined us and excited by what she will contribute. We now have a really strong farm underwriting team to complement our excellent product offering.”

Sarah commented: “I am passionate about the agriculture industry, having spent ten years working with farmers and their brokers to understand the importance of a strong product offering at a sensible, competitive price.

“Bluefin Underwriting are on an exciting journey that I very much want to be part of, as their offering combines all of the qualities needed in this marketplace. I can’t wait to get started.”
